The Grandstand at Racetrack Valley, Death Valley

The Grandstand is a rock outcropping that rises above a playa in Racetrack Valley (a part of Death Valley National Park.) According to lore, early European/American immigrants imagined that Native Americans raced horses around the flat playa while spectators watched from the rock outcropping.
